Just boils down to atheists vs religious people.
I'd be more interested in people listing here if they have any reasons or clues or evidence aside from a 13th century book that there is an afterlife? Does the bible mention much about heaven really?
Didnt Houdini say if there was am afterlife he would show us with a sign. Nothing so far....

Death is a transition from one form into another form or from one form into formlessness. Our levels or states of consciousness at death determine which of the two transitions our life forces will go through. When an unconscious person dies, his/her life force will choose to be reincarnated into another being. For example, some life forces choose to be a kangeroo.

One thought on the universe is that every so many billion years it collapses in on itself, like a black hole, and then we have another Big Bang. So if you cock up this life you can always have a go at getting it right next time.
